Summary

This NICE guideline covers the care of women with urinary incontinence. It gives advice on treatments for several types of urinary incontinence and related conditions, including stress incontinence, overactive bladder syndrome, which may involve urge incontinence, stress and urge incontinence occurring together.

It does not look at urinary incontinence caused specifically by diseases of the nervous system, urinary incontinence in men or in children, and faecal incontinence.
