Cancer cervix vaccine

The toxic Daily Telly is maintaining its usual high editorial standards today with a silly story about our newly approved HPV vaccine. Gardasil is marketed as a "cervical cancer vaccine" but in reality it has not been shown to prevent cervical cancer. The only clinical trial evidence for the vaccine is for prevention of oncogenic HPV viruses - a surrogate endpoint, in other words.
